This role is specifically designed for experienced agents who can operate confidently in armed capacities to meet the client’s needs. Candidates will be required to fulfill Executive Protection (Armed & Unarmed), Driver and Residential Security Team (RST) agent roles interchangeably. Domestic and international travel is required. Must be comfortable in a fast paced environment and social settings with high profile public figures.

Job Details
- Position: Executive Protection Agent
- Job Type: Full-time
- Compensation: $70/hour
- Location: Raleigh, NC. Within driving distance is preferred, lodging accommodation provided.
- Schedule: Typical day is 12-hour minimum with days/nights/weekends/holidays/OT. Three weeks on, three weeks off rotation.
- Ensure the overall safety and security of designated Principals and their property.
- Monitoring of multiple security systems to include alarms and cameras, and competence to identify and properly act on security risks.
- Controlling access to properties and maintenance of security logs for guests, service personnel, and vendors.
- Required to drive Principals to various personal/business venues and/or additional off-site assignments.
- Demonstrate proficiency in use and proper maintenance for all equipment used in support of the protective operations program (i.e. vehicles, medical supplies, communications devices, etc.).
- Maintain an acceptable professional appearance.
- Be able to communicate with the Principal, staff, coworkers, and other third-party vendors utilizing a customer service approach.
- Adapting to various tasks that would be assigned outside of traditional security operations/roles.
- On-the-spot critical thinking and improvisation.
- Emotional intelligence and self-awareness.
- Be comfortable in a variety of social settings, with ability to socially engineer desired outcomes.
- When required, both domestic and international travel.
- Close protection to Principals at various venues, events, filming sessions, business meetings, personal trips, etc.
- Advance work for routes, venues, and travel trips.
- A variety of tasks around the Principal’s property as required.
- Must maintain a positive attitude through a wide variety of situations and conduct themselves in a manner which contributes to a positive and professional work environment.
- Must have proficient writing skills to complete detailed reports.
- Communicate with Principal’s staff and outside personnel, to facilitate seamless operations for Principal(s).
- Physical fitness to stand on your feet for several hours without a break, provide protective coverage during physically taxing activities including running, swimming, hiking, as well as maintain long schedules in the field.
- Ability to responsibly engage to an active threat against the Principal.
- Must be proficient in defensive tactics, in order to deescalate, or actively engage in potential threats against the Principal.
- North Carolina Security Guard & Executive Protection licenses
- Valid United States Driver’s License
- Valid passport with more than six months remaining before expiration
- Aid/AED for Adults, Children, and Infants
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in the military or law enforcement, Special Forces experience preferred.
- Demonstrated expertise in risk assessment, threat mitigation, and defensive tactics.
- High level of physical fitness, mental resilience, and strong decision-making skills.
- Proficient in both communication and dictation.
- Must be able to work in a collaborative team environment.
- Must possess a good understanding of the latest technology in security camera systems, use of smartphones, communications, and collaboration apps.
- Proven conflict resolution experience with a strong emphasis on emotional intelligence.
- Ensures precise, concise, and professional interactions in all written and verbal communication.
- Demonstrated skill in creating accurate reports documenting incidents, observations, and activities supporting client needs.
- Drug free -- must pass a drug screening and submit to periodic screenings throughout employment.
- Ability to patrol properties and access areas quickly.
- Physically able to capture and detain individuals if necessary.
- Prolonged periods sitting 5+ hours at a desk and monitoring surveillance equipment.
- Prolonged periods of standing on feet without a break 4-5+ hours.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds at a time.
- Must be able to lift, drag a human up to 200lbs or more, if necessary.
- Being able to respond to physical attacks, natural disasters, evacuations.
- $70.00/hour
